I'm doing a emoticon on January 1, 2014. It will be the first of many in the up coming year. I plan to run a emoticon . I must say, if 33 minutes is slow. What's a fast time for you?

33 minutes is great! That's about an 11 minute mile or a little better. Congrats on finishing

I am going to attempt to run a 5k each month too. I hope I can stay on task with that commitment and I hope my body allows me to avoid injuries.

It was a lot of fun. I am a slow runner, but I managed to run it with only two short walk breaks. I ended up running it in 33 minutes even, which for me is not bad. I am a slow runner and I enjoy competing with myself to improve a little at a time. Sounds like you had a great time too.

So, how was it? Did you have fun?

I ran a 5K today--Claus for a Cause. It was cold and snowy but fun. It was an extremely small one, and some people dressed up. I'm thinking of trying for a race each month for the new year.

Shucks! I don't have a race planned today as I on a bit of a hiatus from running. Good luck at the race. I hope you have a lot of fun and find the finish line quickly.

I should say run/walk. This is my first 5K since July and I am trying to get back into some sort of running shape.
