I went up to a full size larger and have tried many different brands until I finally found "my" shoes.

Were you fitted for your shoes at a specialty running/walking store? I wear a full size bigger in running shoes than my normal shoes, so is it possible that 1/2 size wasn't enough for you?

I am in the 4th week and completed the second day of training the the 5 K walk/job virtual race. I bought new running shoes for the training. I followed the advise of experienced runners and bought shoes a 1/2 size bigger then I normally wear. The problem is I am going to loose one of my toe nails. I think it is from jamming the tip of my shoe. Any suggestions on how to not loose any more toenails? emoticon emoticon
