Strength training!!! You would be amazed by how much harder you can push yourself once you build up your core especially. Planks will do wonders! I also do pole fitness which helps build a lot of strength. Roller derby will provide all the cardio you need! I have been derbying for 3 years and been skating for 10+ years.

Our team is definately working on our endurance during practices and i am trying to add some extra at home. I am also trying to build my core and increase my agility.

Endurance, endurance, endurance.
If you have any say in your training, up your endurance. It's going to make a world of difference when bouting.

Though I'm not currently on a team, I do love derby! I'm no expert, but I've been told to make sure to get some protein in after a workout and make sure to stay hydrated. Rock it out!
