a massage, a mani/pedi, new clothes, a new haircut/style, or even just going to see a movie you want to see....it should never be food related...that's what got us here in the first place....good luck!!!!!!

Thanks for the ideas :) I will keep them in mind. Food rewards aren't always bad, like giving yourself a bit of a treat with chocolate or whatever now and again, but it isn't a healthy habit to get into. Good luck to you all! :)

I like rewarding myself with a item of smaller clothing, like I bought myself a new workout fleece so I can exercise outside and be cozy warm and look good emoticon For some reason it motivates me more. I plan to get a massage(which I have never had) when I lose 10 more pounds. I agree with the food thing, stay away from rewarding yourself with food.
Good Luck!

Hmm, I haven't thought of any. This is an interesting thought. But I agree, I will stay away from food reward. Have to think on that.

I second staying away from food rewards. For me that just reinforces bad childhood habits.

I probably think slightly longer term and think of new clothes as a good reward. I am looking forward to needing smaller sizes :)

Hi-I'm new to the site-but have you thought about a bubble bath or an afternoon with a couple of movies for sticking to your goals. I'm trying to stay away from food rewards..

I like the idea of rewarding yourself for reaching your smaller goals (like exercising for a full week straight, staying on track nutrition-wise, etc), but I don't really know what to reward myself with. I'm on an extremely tight budget and don't always want to use my favourite foods as rewards. Any ideas?
