If you're anything like me, when I'm looking after small children I tend to snack too much, and finish off things that they leave on their plates. I liked the message below which suggested taking them to the library, recreation centre or for some other kind of outing, and especially that you try to find someplace where there is daycare for the children or special programs that they can do on their own, while you take a program that you enjoy. I don't know how long you've been retired, but I found it took me a good two years before I found actiities for me (mostly through my church) that satisfied me and gave me the opportunity to build new friendships to replace one work friends that I'd lost.
