I hope I have your letters correct. But, your comment is right. I have been doing this diet thing for awhile and I have finally began to get it right this time. My doctor told me all I have to is to change my eating habits by eating more fruits and vegetables. So, I have begun to do this along with exercises. So, thanks for this comment. It is very motivating.

Ha! I told that to my doctor when I saw her in September. I'm gonna keep coming back and I'm not gonna give up.
Then I studied some more about people, attitudes, perceptions, how you talk to yourself, and so forth.....tried to figure out what "sparks" me to unproductive feelings....so that I eat....and the signals to look for. So when THAT starts to happen....I have a plan and will stick to what's good for me.
I have to plan, plan, plan, in order for all this to work for me. Rearrange my thinking. I have lots of other duties as a young retiree with a husband, kids and grandkids....but it is all about my rearranging! Whatcha think?

I joined Sparkpeople 2 years ago and did very well, lost about 60 lbs and kept the weight off for over a year. Slowly I have gained 30 back.... I jumped back on sparkpeople, but it is the same as where I left off. how do you restart, to see how many calories you should eat.... I remember there being something i filled out that figured it all out for me, but I can't seem to find it.

Thanks for your confidence in me because I have been trying to lose this weight since the beginning of the year. And now the year is almost out and still haven' t list this weight. You know what, I am not going to give up.

emoticon Doris. Slow and steady does win the race (although I have to admit that it can be maddeningly slow). You are in plenty of company in restarts and regroupings!! But this can be the time that makes all the difference and finds you heading toward your goal. SP has so much to offer. Take time to figure out what helps you most in your journey. Hi, This is Doris and I starting my diet all over again, because I haven't been sticking to hard on it. But, I hopefully I will be doing a lot better this time around. So, by joining the slower program maybe I will start to see some results.
