On my rest day, I work on my butt, and MAYBE walk 2 miles with Leslie Sansone.

I also am doing Turbo Fire and today is my rest day too! I always try to at least do SOMETHING on those days whether it's a nice long walk, or a strength routine (I also own ChaLEAN extreme).

But Turbo is so intense that I don't want to overburden myself on a rest day.

Hi Gabby,
I would say definitely don't do the Turbo Fire again on the rest day since the program is set up for you to take a day off from it -- but you can do something different if you feel like it.

Personally I am a bit militant with my rest days because when I skip rest, I see it play out in my performance the following week. If you notice that you are not able to push yourself as hard as you know you should be able to next week, you may come to the same conclusion.

It's usually okay to do something non intense. "Rest" doesn't mean bedrest! :)

Google "overtraining" and watch for those symptoms in yourself. If you start to see them, you need more rest.

So, I'm doing TurboFire workouts and it automatically has a rest day. Sometimes I don't feel like resting and not working out. What would you recommend I do? Should I just rest anyway or would it be ok to do something less intense? Or would it be ok to do something intense if I'm not tired. Thanks for the input.
