I have 2 that I use. One for indoor and one for outside. The indoor one I use is a polar and the outdoor is a garmin forerunner. The polar does not track mileage and was the first that I got and it has been a great watch. I bought the Garmin for tracking distance.
I don't know for sure but I think the only watch that will also track calories are Heart Rate Monitors. Again, I don't know for sure, but most of the HRMs have you wear a strap around your checks to measure the number of heart beats you are doing while exercising and with your added info (it will ask you for your sex, age, weight, height, etc), calculates the calories you are burning.
I have a Polar F4 that I really like that ran about $80-90 on Amazon.com
Does anyone have a good recommendation for a watch that also tracks calories burned? There's so many online I am getting confused. Some seem like they come with a chest strap others are just a watch...
I just want something with basic functions that can tell me how many calories I am burning a day, that is also a watch.
