Hi KNIBARG,

I personally like the Polar brand--they are the company who brought the HRM to the general public over 30 years ago so they have a long legacy with reliability and dependability. They come in various prices depending on the features you elect to add.

Does anyone have a recommendation of a heart rate monitor that accurately computes calories burned? I typically do interval training on the recumbent bike, circuits, or the elliptical. I looked at the fitbit, but it seemed to be best at step tracking rather than computing for other exercises.
Thanks!
