I have to agree with JAMINURSE, I have done the same things.

I have been searching and saving spark recipes that are closer to four servings. When you track that recipe you have the option to have .5 or .25 of that recipe (or serving). If I don't trust myself to stop at one serving I food the food away. The other thing I have been doing is entering my own modified recipe and I can modify it as I choose. I have been building my own recipe cookbook and I just do a daily search of a particular meal or type of food.
This is a huge problem for me. It isn't just the healthy eating issue, it's also a matter of budgeting. Even if I eat several of the same meals in a row or freeze things, there is still waste. And, who wants to eat 12 to 18 of the same meals in a row. I've found a couple of cookbooks for 1 to 2 servings, but not one for crookpots. So I stowed my larger one and bought a new smaller one. It has helped a bit.
Unfortunately that is not an option at this time, but I'll pass along your feedback.

Love thie site so far and the recipes. Only problem is I cook for my hubby and me. Most recipes are for 4-8 people. Is there an auto calculaotr somewhere here that I am missing that will lower ingredient amts for only 2 people. Readyseteat.com has some good recipes and has a built in calculator for number of people you cook for.
