I lost 60lbs on another weight loss system. but have gained all but 25 of it back. Am trying this, so far I'm having a hard time controlling my urge to snack. But I'm going to do my best to remove the unwanted poundage. Plus I can't fit into not even one pair of my jeans(geesh). Today has been a good day as far as eating goes, now if I could just get off my behind;)

I THOUGHT SP WAS MY NIRVANA. IT LOOKED SO EXCITING, BUT, SO FAR, I STILL CANNOT BREAK THE FOOD ADDICTION. I TRY TO LOGIN EVERY DAY, AND I LOOK AT A LOT OF THINGS, BUT I CANNOT FIND THE PLACE/WAY FOR ME TO WORK SP. HOWEVER, I AM NOT GIVING UP. I AM GOING ON VACATION NOW UNTIL SEPTEMBER 1ST, SO PROBABLY WILL NOT CHECK IN OFTEN. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYBODY. STAY WELL! emoticon

It is hard when you start this journey but it will get a little easy each week that you stick with it. The first thing is to say to yourself "I can do this" Think before you eat anything and don't buy the things that trigger over eating.

If it is hard to do something try to go for a walk and think things over in you mine.
Most important is that you have loads of support on here 24 /7.

Good luck and stick with it.

Hang in there SCOU5ER. The first two days are the hardest. It will get easier. You can do it.

Hang in there. I, too, struggle with the idea that food is a cure all; and I, too, find that distractions work most of the time. Just look for some distractions that you like - perhaps browsing SP for ideas or motivation. Good luck!

Day 2 today, easier than yesterday but had 3-4 times when wanted to throw the towel in. I didn't though. Distracted myself mainly and thank goodness it worked. Worked out that frustration and getting stuck with a problem I can't figure out how to resolve is a trigger for me. What's going on in my head that I think food makes that better?
