I am like you ,I am so glad I have fond sparkpeople I am hoping that by sharing my goals an failures that I can find support from people that is goining through the same challangess. I see one of your goals is walking.I don't like walking outside I use to but, now I live on a highway so I bought me a wii and the wii fit.it has games like balance ,walking a tight rope,and so much more it is so fun I almost forget I am exercising.If you can you should check it out I love it.It also keeps track of time spent,days done etc.
I am focusing on making concious choices - making sure I am considering the exercise I am doing and the food I am putting in my mouth - rather than going on auto-pilot like I have been for so many years.
You can do whatever you set your mind to. Your goals seem really realistic. Mine is a single goal but it touches many areas of my life.
GOAL - I will make BETTER choices. This hits all of these areas and is easily measured by comparing what I do each day to what I would have done in the past - eating less, choosing healthier foods, exercising more, choosing to move more, taking better care of myself and others, choosing to be aware and grateful more often, etc..
I am so happy that I found Spark People. Now I can probably stay on track much better than I have attempted in the past. Just starting out, but, I think that my goals are realistic for me anyway. 1. Continue to eat at the table, of course. 2. Go for a walk every Thursday morning (weather & medical condition permitting) and each week increase the time on my walk by 5 min. 3. Daily 'E' with a video.
