I thought I'd introduce myself and jump in feet first. I will lose 50lbs....that's the goal. My oldest daughter leaves for bootcamp on 7/2 and I am going to run a 5k with her before she leaves....that's my motivation. My kids have only known me to be overweight and that will change, my grandchildren will know me as healthy and fit......that is my aspiration.
So far I am 4lbs into this journey. I have revamped my nutrition and, much to the disappointment if my kids, have restocked the pantry. I aim to eat 1200-1500 calories per day and exercise 5-7 days per week. I have begun to mix running into my treadmill workout and am taking advantage of classes at the gym (Zumba, body pump, yoga, water classes).
This time around I am doing this for me! Not a husband, or friends, or haters.....ME!
