Hello and Welcome to Sparks!

Although each person has different goals, you're in great company here. The amount of support and community at Sparks is unlike any other website. (Trust me, I've tried them all!) emoticon

If there is any way that I can help you along your journey, just let me know! I'm always here for friends in need.

I suggest doing the getting started guide if you haven't already Great place to learn your way around :

I would also suggest you think about your goals and write them out .. make them doable, precise and post where you can see them !

Amanda welcome to Sparkpeople. You will love it here. Everyone is very friendly and supportive. Lots of good information and useful tools to help you along the way.
Be sure to read the Getting Started Guide and take it from there. Join a few teams and become involved. This is where you will get most of your support and make friends too. You may also find reading the success stories very helpful too.
Good luck in reaching your goals. Together we will travel this weight loss journey and reach our goals too.

Welcome! You've come to the right place. SparkPeople is a real life saver--I know it has been that way for me. You'll find lots of supportive, caring friends here. You've already taken the first step--setting up your Spark page. That will help people get to know you. Join a few teams of people with something in common with yourself--location, hobbies, amount to lose, age group, etc. And then make the commitment to track your food and exercise every single day. Just treat it like a job and make sure you do AT LEAST that much each day. You'll find lots of great information and support on SP, but the best part is the people. So jump right in and start tracking your progress. I find it helps to make a game of it and try to earn at least 50 points a day by reading articles, watching videos, finding recipes, interacting with other Spark friends, etc. It can be fun and helps keep my motivation high. Remember, you are worth it and together we can do it!!

Hello everyone... I moved out of state and left my support group behind almost a year ago. I somehow gained 30lbs by doing so. Im really hoping this will help me to get myself into shape. Feel free to drop by and say HI!
