The other members who've replied bring up a very important point. When it comes to losing weight or even gaining weight, what matters most is what we eat. Good nutrition (and portion control) is what takes the weight off and keeps it off. Exercise is what keeps our bodies fit.
In short, if you're not eating right, you won't lose weight. If you continue to exercise, you will be fitter, but not necessarily scale lighter. Losing weight is all about doing your best to eat right and watch your portions.
You can't outrun a bad diet with exercise. Exercise can only help a person lose weight IF a caloric deficit is created. And well, here's your catch 22 when it comes to working out for longer times. The longer you workout, the hungrier you will get. Ask any member, we'll all tell you. When we started doing intense exercise, our appetites increased.
So, if you aren't watching what you eat, you may not lose that five pounds. However, you might lose five inches off your body if you keep exercising.

Well, you didn't really answer the questions. Since weight loss is primarily about diet, if you don't have your eating under control, you may not meet your goal. How much left to you have to lose to hit your 5 lb goal? You have only a couple of weeks before March 1.
Remember that your body isn't a calendar, and time-based goals are often ineffective, because they usually ignore reality. Losing 5 lbs is easy for someone over 200, since you're under that, it's going to be much slower for you.
