I'm new to SparkPeople and I joined because I have become concerned about sugar as a toxin and want to track "bad" sugar. I would like to explore a diet plan that is based upon the ratio of sugar to fiber and I'd like to find an upper limit of sugar. That is, total sugar (both good and bad) minus fiber should not exceed X grams. I cannot figure out what X is if I can't track sugar. I have to say that I am terribly disappointed that SparkPeople is unable to unwilling to accomodate this goal. How can I work around this problem? If I track sucrose, glucose, fructose and lactose and add them together, will I come close to total sugar?
