It is such a great feeling. Just be careful that you don't do too much too soon. There are very good guidelines here on Spark for first time runners.

I have been walking or doing the elliptical for almost 3 months now. Well, yesterday I decided to try to run. I was terrified. But once I started doing it, I ran a whole mile!!! It felt great! I did something I thought I could NEVER do!
