American Bandstand on Saturday afternoons. I worked very hard on Sat. mornings to get the privilege of watching it. I thought those teens were so cool and I loved Dick Clark. RIP!

Rockin' New Year's Eve was definitely a part of my New Year's celebration since I can remember. I also remember how painful it was for Dick Clark to have to give that up after the stroke. Such a condolences to family and friends and my prayers are with them.

I loved american bandstand! it was sad to watch him on New Years eve after his stroke

rest in peace

I think it was an outpatient procedure related to his heart, not a facelift, which would be highly unlikely after the severe stroke that he suffered years ago.

I wouldn't even begin to assume it was a face lift...geeze.

Yes, may he rest in peace.

Dick Clark was the man that never got old, he always looked young. I remember watching American Bandstand and then years later he still looked the same in rock'n new year's eve...
It said he had a massive heart attack after an outpatient procedure , I hope it wasn't unnecessary surgery, hate to think we lost such an ICON for a face lift...
RIP DICK CLARK and prayers going out to your family and friends! emoticon emoticon emoticon
