I only eat at dinner time! I know I am not eating enough.

I find I don't eat breakfast, just get up get ready for work and go. I get so busy at work I forget to eat. I am just not hungry until after I get out of work. Then I stop off and pick up a snack at CVS and head home. When I get home I snack on whatever I can until I finish making dinner. After dinner, I feel the need to snack it seems like I body is trying to catch up after a day of not eating just drinking water. I would love some advice on ways to eat quick healthy meals in the morning and at work. I think my body goes into starvation mode and I am not aware of this until I step on the scale or notice my jeans getting tight. Which is ware I am at now.

If I am in a hurry in the mornings, I eat a package of Belvita biscuits and a piece of fruit....they are filling and I don't get hungry til lunchtime.

For lunch I usually have some type of green salad, and hummus....some pita bread. Sometimes cheese or PB for protein, and a cup of fruit. I always bring a yogurt for an afternoon snack.

I make my own protein shake in the blender with almond milk,protein powder, and throw in some blueberries. Quick and easy.

Are you tracking your food? What area are you lacking in that you don't think you're eating enough? Not getting enough cals, protein, etc? If you're finding yourself always grazing or looking for something ELSE to eat, up your protein some. Eat Greek yogurt instead of regular; add some avocado to a salad for healthy filling fats; there are many many ways you can get your cals and rounded nutrition in each day :)

Make up a smoothie the night before.

I always have a big batch of quinoa in the fridge. Heat up and top!

Oatmeal so I have enough energy to last me all morning, the old fashioned type provides energy because of the B vitamins

Two Microwaved eggs...1 minute in the microwave...Eggs have lots of vitamins

1/2 cup of cottage cheese Daisy brand has only 4 carbs...add a handful of matchstick carrots...quick and easy.

Any kind of berries and skim milk....

an apple for an on the go treat in the car...

Make a smoothie the night before and put in the fridge, and take a Banana or apple to eat on the way. Also, having little snap-lock bags with dried figs prunes or dates in them, along with a few nuts and seeds, are great for if you need that little bit extra. If you don't need it then it will be there, ready and waiting for when you do!

I have a toasted whole wheat bagel with peanut butter just about every day--I'm totally addicted. It's quick, easy, delicious, and filling! You could make it even quicker by not toasting the bagel.

Overnight oats are my favourite breakfast right now.

The night before mix 1/3 cup milk (or milk alternative), 1/4 cup old fashioned oats, 1/4 cup Greek yogurt and any spices you want. You can mix in your own toppings the night before or in the morning. Then just put it in the fridge overnight in a tupperware container. You can also use cottage cheese instead of Greek yogurt. I made one with cottage cheese, pear, cinnamon, nutmeg and maple syrup that was delicious.

I've made key lime (lime juice/lime zest and coconut flakes); chocolate, banana and ricotta cheese; chocolate and strawberries, tropical (topped with frozen banana/mango blended in the morning and coconut flakes); chocolate, peanut butter and banana; blueberry, banana and almond butter.

To get the chocolate flavour I use either unsweetened cocoa powder and honey or maple syrup, sugar-free instant pudding powder or chocolate whey protein powder.

Take your focus off the Marshmallow.

"Toning" is marketing muscles to women who are afraid if they pick up a barbell, they'll leave the gym looking like She-Hulk. It doesn't happen, what does happen is you get results. Lifting Barbie weights does nothing but waste time.

I usually do a smoothie or refrigerator oatmeal. Either one of them you can stick in the fridge and just pull it out in the morning.

oatmeal: 1/4 c. rolled oats, 1/4 c. plain yogurt, 1/3 c. milk, 1/2 c. diced fruit (frozen is fine), you can sprinkle in chia seeds, flax seeds, or anything else you want.

smoothie: 1/2 c milk, 1/2 c. plain yogurt, 1/2-1 c. frozen fruit, 1/2 c. frozen spinach, 1/4 c. rolled oats (sprinkle in seeds). the range for the fruit is because some fruits you need more of to disguise the spinach :)

Yogurt with fruit and granola - packs/travels well, can be prepped the night before.

Bagel with cheese, cream cheese, peanut butter...

Leftovers from dinner (who says breakfast has to be "breakfast food?")

Goal 1 - break 200 (46 pounds lost)**DONE**
Goal 2 - leave obesity behind (BMI 29.9, at 185#) **DONE**
Goal 3 - BMI = Normal (154# or less)

I leave for work every morning at 7am, this is to early for me to eat breakfast, but I do know it is the most important meal of the day! Does anyone have any ideas on a quick breakfast I could consume on the go or after I get to work? I am having a problem consuming enough calories through the day!
