The way I have done things like this in the past is that I make a new selection in the tracker I am using. You can just add up all of the individual ingredients. IE: 1/2 cup romaine, 1 oz parmasean, 10 croutons... ect for the salad. I usually have to do that for all my salads if you want them to be exact. Vegetable soup is generally fairly low calorie and most generic ones would work for that unless they used a large about of fat in the preparation.

I had lunch with a couple of friends today. The restaurant is locally owned and operated. I had water, vegetable soup, and a Caesar salad (with a light bit of dressing). The salad was small so that it would compliment that soup. The vegetable soup had fresh vegetables in it. I'm not really sure how to track this. I typed in Caesar salad and came up with a lot of alternatives but none that seemed to fit.

How do I go about choosing the salad since the restaurant doesn't provide nutritional info? briosopasta.com/ As it is, I am pretty sure that the soup I chose has more sodium in it than what was really present in the salad.

As of right now, I chose the regular old vegetable soup that popped up when I typed in vegetable soup. For the salad, I chose the Panera Bread Caesar Salad, half portion, 1 serving for the salad. Does that sound ok or should I have chosen something else? I'm not sure if what I chose is close enough or not.
