Don't forget that you can still enter all your foods even if you don't use meal plans at all. You just take the information from the food packaging, making sure that you carefully weigh and measure everything and then enter all the info under "Enter a food not listed".

Most of what I eat I have to enter all the details myself. That's partly because I'm in the UK and most of the items in the food tracker are US-centric, but partly because I don't use the meal planners at all. I eat whatever I fancy and make sure I track it all manually.

Thanks, Jen! I bought a calorie counter book on my Kindle so I can add foods not listed. I did go to another website and printed off some sample menus for a 1200 calorie diet which gave calorie counts for everything, so I have some idea of what menus I can plan on my own and still enter them into the tracker. I really like logging everything so I can see where I stand, plus add in my fitness minutes and get my weekly report.

Blessings, Michelle

Hi Michelle

There are a certain number of meals within each calorie range for each meal, so depending on your program preferences, you might not get much more variety. If you track your own food, you'll still be able to see your recommended calorie and nutrient totals vs. ranges at the bottom of your tracker.

Hope that helps,

Coach Jen

I have been following the meal plans, mostly consistently the past few weeks, but am getting sick of the same menus....is there any way to change any or all of the meal plans from week to week? I was thinking there used to be an option for this, but I can't find it now. I know I can substitute my own foods, but I like using SP's to count in the protein, carbs, etc.

Thanks in advance!

Blessings, Michelle
