Thank you for the response. I'll ask on the new link.

I figured they were just estimates, because I know actual calories burned also depends on how much you weigh/how much effort you put into the exercise itself etc etc. Just trying to get a rough idea.

Thanks again =)

edit * Oops I didn't realize that's not a thread where you ask specific questions. Oh well.. I guess I'll just stick with what I can find that's close to it and hope for the best =)

Hi,

Just remember that all calorie calculators are just estimates of calories expended so try not to get to caught up in being too precise. Below is a link to the Ask the Experts response to this question when you can't specifically locate the exercise.

I hope this helps!

Hi everyone, this is my first time posting on here.. but anyway

I've been scouring the web to try and get an answer but came up with zip...

I've been using the Wii Fit for my fitness, mostly the Free Step feature. I turn the sound off, put some "exercise music" on and go to town, almost 2x the step speed on the highest setting. I get in just over 1200 steps in 10 minutes.

My question is, how do I figure out calories burned? When I enter my fitness, it has Free Step already in there, but there's now way to tell what it's actually based on... slow speed, high speed or whatever.

I know I'm getting a decent work out in because I'm dripping with sweat by the time I'm done, I'm just trying to get somewhat of a calories burned count.

Thanks in advance.
