Thanks Becky. Never thought about just hitting a point that was good for me. That's a good point. As for everything else, that's not a concern but should it ever be I will certainly do so. Thank you for the advice

Having a poop every 2-3 days...could be your "normal". Having a poop every day is not necessary. The issue is the consistency of the bowel movement. There is a concern when it is hard, and difficult to pass---and you must strain. If this is the case---see your doctor.

So not to over share, but I have a question about Psyllium Husks and yes it involves going to the bathroom.

I started taking psyllium husks about 3 weeks ago because I did not poop as regularly as I would like and having tracked my fiber realized that was part of the problem. I researched them and asked my mom about them because she was the one that recommend them and everything I read said that you will "go" everyday, just to make sure you drink plenty of water. Well this is not the case with me. I still go only every 2-3 days and yet I drink at least 64 ounces of water before I take them. I take it with about 14 ounces of water and then have at least another 64 throughout the rest of the day.

My question is is this okay, or has it happened to anyone else? I haven't really had any negative effects but it's only been 3 weeks and I don't want to be doing something and not realize it's actually a problem.

Thanks for your time!
