I think you already have a solution to your situation!! (And I love it!!) Hang in thar, talk to yourself as you would to someone who's having a rough time, and remember that tomorrow is another day! .Don't be so hard on yourself .Look at the amount of weight u have already lost. you are doing so well. A bad day or couple of days with a weight gsin is no reason to give up or be emberessed it has happened to eveyone of us throughout our journey. We just pick ourself up off the floor and try again. you can do it-u are worth it- Now get back on track and no more worries its over and past. Its present and future now. Lu Ann

Even though you've been a member for a very long time, I'm going to give you one piece of advice I give to all new members and it's this,"Don't look at good health or weight loss with an all or nothing mentality". If the only healthy thing you did for yourself today was drink 8 glasses of water, that's still a step in the right direction.
You CAN NOT and SHOULD NOT beat yourself up because you regained some weight. That is something every single member has gone through at one time or another. We are all experts at gaining, losing and regaining the weight. That was the past. You can't change the past, but you CAN influence and change the future.
Remember, you are NOT a bad person or a weak willed one because you gained weight. We've all done it. there is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. You are NOT a failure.
What to do ? As the old song goes,"accentuate the positive and elminate the negative". Give yourself credit for all the positive things you do for yourself and STOP the negative talk.
You'll never become healthy if you keep telling yourself you're a failure. If you want to break the cycle, you have to start by looking in the mirror and saying something positive about yourself. There is more too good health than a number that stares at us from between our toes in teh morning.
Break the cycle !! Tell the Spark Community something that you do like about yourself !
I was doing great, I was, and then I screwed up. And because I screwed up I ate. It wasn't a comfort. I knew I was undoing hard work and I kept going. It enabled me to keep hating myself for being a failure. And now I'm 6 lbs heavier than I dare put on my ticker. I disgust myself. What the hell is wrong with me?
