Been there!!

On those days I know what you mean about feeling lazy if you do nothing exercise-wise. Even just going for a walk is something though! But taking a day off every week completely will help you recharge. I took close to a week off of ST and 4 days of cardio due to a pulled muscle or... something... in my back last week and when I came back to it this week, I just had SO much more energy and crushed my workouts.

Don't be afraid of your down-time repair-time for your body!

Thank you, I will do something today, i'll feel guilty otherwise. I just feel really lazy today! Eeek!

If you've been doing a hard hour of exercise daily, absolutely take a day off. Our body needs it occasionally. Even one day a week is not uncommon for folks to take off completely.

As an alternative, you could do just 10 minutes, or just do something very light for a bit.

Listen to your body ... and that's exactly what you're doing ... good on you!!!

Thank you, i've been doing a good hour of hard exercising daily, so maybe one day a week where I only do half an hour, or lighten the load a bit might not be too much of a bad thing!

I think it depends on your routine and your own body.
As an older person than you (from the appearance of your photo) I do have days where my body just does not want to do anything of a significant nature.

However, I do get out the door with the dog - she's motivation enough.
Now, she's getting on in years, too, and there are days that she, too, does not wish to go very far.

Every little bit helps, though.
Don't beat yourself up if you think you need a slower day, when all you do is light activities

I've woken up today, and i'm exhausted. I just can't find the motivation to do anything, let alone work out.

Does anyone else have any days like this? How do you overcome it? Do you allow rest days in the week, or do you all deem that as a bit of a cheat?
