congrats....Check with your Dr. But I am sure you can still count your calories. see what range she recommends while pregnant. And eating healthy fruits, veggies, whole grains, are always good for YOU AND the baby. It is hard to say what your body will do.
With the exercising you really need to talk to your dr. some will allow exercise if you have been doing it for a while, and keep your heart rate at a certain level and not get to high. Check and find out what they recommend. I was able to take walks with mine, but I have heard runners were able to keep running while pregnant. Not me!!!!! All depends on teh person.
You might want to check out babyfit.com. I lost weight while pregnant with my second because I'd been on a "diet". Then, I started eating crap again and gained. Then, I was diagnosed with GD, so I started eating fantastically, and while Iw asn't really losing, I didn't gain anything for a long time. So, I think it's ok to lose, especially if you have a lot to lose, so long asy ou talk to your dr. about it.
I've been on a weight loss mission, and have found out I'm 10 weeks pregnant. I would like to not neccessarily loose more weight, but at least maintain my weight while being pregnant. I'm still what you would call a "big" girl and am actually only suppose to gain 8 pounds with this pregnancy. Will it be healthy for the baby to still do what I am doing. I'm not starving myself or leaving out nutrients just eating healthier and excersing. :) I'm very excited about this pregnancy and can not wait to have a nice healthy baby.
