First of all, congratulations on the baby! Motherhood is the most wonderful job you never get a paycheck for doing. :) It NEVER hurts to make healthy food choices, pregnant or not. As far as "starting" anything new, I'm pretty sure the doctor would approve prenatal yoga and light weight training, provided that you are not having any complications. I went to the gym with a woman that worked out all the way until her due date, doing light weights, walking, mommy yoga, etc. As soon as the doctor gave her the okay, she started taking the baby to the gym with her and doing mommy and me classes. I wanted to strangle her. :) She was an overacheiver with a heart of gold that DID IT ALL. Continue making healthy food choices and talk to your doctor about a light workout program you can do. Good luck!!
