You can lose weight similarly to an adult who does not have pre-diabetes.
We have a diabetes center here at SP. You can sign up and get our diabetes/pre-diabetes meal plans to use. These are designed with your calorie range and use controlled carbohydrate eating plans for meals and snack. Here is the link to the center:

Also...ask your doctor for a referral to meet with a diabetes educator who can work with you on your specific meal plan needs for blood sugar control and weight loss.

Hey everyone,
Recently I have been diagnosed as a pre-diabetic and have been prescribed metformin. I am looking for advise on multivitamins and how other pre-diabetics have been able to loose up to 50 pounds and how long it took them. Thank you!
