Sadly, I mostly have to think about my breathing (in... out... in... out...) and "one more stop sign.. one more mailbox... one more lamp post..." - I am looking forward to the day when my thoughts can be a little more relaxed!
I live in a really beautiful area with lots of big old homes and I used to just stare at them as I was running by.. but the big old tree roots make the sidewalk uneven in some places and I was too busy paying attention to the houses and tripped and fell really hard... after that I just hoped no one saw.. and I have since taken a hiatus from running haha
I think about what I might have for lunch that day...or what my best bud Dennis is up to. Or what plans I might have for the weekend.

We all have those random little thoughts as we exercise, especially as we go out to run, walk or jog. I know that I do. But I'm kind of curious to see what everyone else thinks of as they take a run.
