Because your surgery was so recent, I'd still ask the doc to suggest an exercise routine to start back with as you continue recovering.

@ Jen : I consulted my Dr. and she cleared me for everything other than heavy lifting.

Hello

You'll definitely want to talk to your doctor about what exercises are safe and what you should avoid at this point. They will be the best ones to come up with a plan as you continue to recover.

I'm a 43 year old female, who just had a dual hernia repair operation(abdominal),3 weeks ago. I'm wondering what exercise routine would be best to start back with. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!
