I don't get the blues but I do think well another 365 days until my favorite day of the year again.

I like the whole month of December. I like all the Christmas happenings. I like that my birthday is the 2nd week of December. I know we plan for Christmas and Hanuaka and then the day comes then poof. But then we have New Years Eve and New Years Day. I have always celebrated again.

Each year with my daughter we start the New Year with a present and a celebration. Also we try to celebrate the Chinese New Years for fun. We value each day. I don't get down after the holidays. I do think the snow and the dreary outside can make me slower and kinda more tired but not depressed.

There is always something to do or something going on.

I used to feel like that, not anymore. Now, I couldn't get that tree down fast enough. I took it down day after Christmas. Earliest ever for me. Now my focus is on New Year and making this the best year ever.

You know, Christmas will be here soon again anyway. I am dreading that thought already! Ha Ha!

You could start planning for next year already, like gift stashing, saving money for presents, planning your holiday menu if you are so inclined. Go for it!

I love Christmas but I don't feel let down when it is over as there is always something to keep me busy...actually I am glad to see it come and go as I then get a "rest" so to speak.....all the shopping, wrapping, secrecy etc is done with

I LOVE when Christmas is "mom" that means I can finally have a few days to RELAX. Besides--Valentine's Day is just around the corner. Time for me to start planning presents for my Girls. :)

Haha, literally within 2 days after Christmas my entire focus switches to SPRING! I just think of those flowers blooming, and wearing bright colored tank tops and flip flops. Ahhhh I can picture it now.

It is like a balloon popping, Radio stations start playing Christmas music, the decoration are taken down. Went to Target this morning, Valentine Cards are out there on display. Depressing for me, since the "Fiscal Cliff" is looming and we have no real leaders in our country today. I just do not think it will be a happy new year.

My holiday letdown happens a little later, because I also get excited about the new year and I do things like clean the house really well & make new year's resolutions. But I know what you mean. I know one person who starts buying gifts for the following year during the post-holiday clearance sales!

I enjoy the Christmas season, but I'm always happy to get things back to "normal". It's hard to believe 2012 will soon be in the past. Time goes by so quickly.

I'll go with Karen and Kissfan

I'm glad it's over, but feel like I've left so much undone

I sometimes feel that way but I mostly feel this sense of not doing all that I had planned to do during the month of December and wondering what happened to those 31 days, LOL. I have all these things I want to do with my family but it seems a struggle to get even half of them done which is depressing to me.

It's the same thing for me every year! Starting October, I get all psyched up and anticipating Christmas, then, in almost no time at all, it's Christmas Eve, then it's Christmas, then it's all over on the 27th. I always feel like a pricked balloon every 27th of December! Then I'll start thinking, now I have to wait a whole year before the next Christmas! Bleh!

Anyone else feel this way?
