There's not much nutritional value in popcorn but it's not a BAD choice.

Popcorn is my #1 snack!
While eating an apple is probably better, I still have junk-food cravings, and popcorn satisfies that without all of the calories and fat. I always buy light popcorn, which is like 250 calories for an entire bag. And trust me, I eat the whole bag! It's warm and comforting and guilt-free.

For me, its great because it satisfies my craving for crunchy, salty snacks while keeping me away from potato chips.
Depends how much butter you put on it! I eat the 100 calorie packs of microwave popcorn, it yields 5 cups of popcorn and light on the butter. Popcorn is a great source of fiber, but the problem is the toppings we put on it!

I think unbuttered popcorn is a great choice. It is also a great source of fiber.
