The watch uses a size 1632 and the strap uses a different size but I can't remember the number. I got the battery at my local ACE Hardware but you can purchase both sizes at any big box like Target or Wal-Mart

I got mine at Walmart, but the chest strap piece and the watch require two different sizes

My hubby changed mine out...just popped off the back and gave me the old one so I could take it to the store and get the same thing. It's one of those flat camera-type batteries. I had him change out the one in the sensor at the same time. As Unident said, any watch or jewelry store would be able to do it too.

Any watch repair shop would be able to do that.

You'd probably lose the guarantee of being waterproof, though. So I wouldn't advise swimming with it after, but ask at your shop and see what they say.

If you look at the back of the watch it should say. It may be hard to read but if you put it under a bright light and use a magnifying glass you should be able to read it.

If you still can't see it or it doesn't say, you can take it to your local battery/watch repair shop. It's super quick and still cheaper than ordering one from Polar.

I have a Polar FT4 Heart Rate Monitor and it needs a new battery. I was wondering if anyone else had one of these and where can you find a replacement battery without ordering from Polar?

Thanks
