I realize this thread is kinda old but I was wondering, do you have links about what you posted? I have been taking Plexus Slim with the Accelerator and have been having kidney problems on it. Or at least I think it's the Plexus. I'd like to review what others have experienced. At any rate, I've stopped taking the stuff and am back to square 10 (of 100+ squares, lol). Thanks!

Just wondering if those of you who have used Plexus are still here, on SparkPeople, and if you are still using Plexus, what are your updates on if it worked for you or not...

Yup that is a pyramid scheme.
It seems really easy to gain weight, but really hard to lose. It can be done though. Without pills or drinks or shakes. I know I did it.
I'm a nurse and Plexus is working for me. I've gone from a size 18/20 to now in a size 12. I started July 1. I know many people who have zero results until the third week. Most people who stay on it at least 30 days are loving it.
I have also known one person who became tachycardic when taking the accelerators and another person whose blood pressure increased as well. I only take the Slim Mix.
Time passes either way! I choose to look back one day and be happy I took charge of my mouth instead of looking in the mirror and wishing I had!

Hello mysterious person who sounds like an infomercial for the product. Perhaps you do not realize what a pyramid or mutli-level marketing scheme is. What you described with your "sponsor" is exactly a pyramid scheme.

Locally people have been hospitalized with serious kidney problems after taking this stuff. I would stay far, far away. I truly wish there was some quick fix, but proper diet & exercise are the only safe method to lose weight.
Healthy choices and actions have positive impacts, even if the scale doesn't move!

I thought I'd join this group to give my personal experience with Plexus so far. Prior to discovering Plexus Slim I had tried every weight loss product that I could find. I tried one that helped me lose 110 lbs., but during the process I developed an eating disorder. Once I went off their program I gained 90 lbs. back in a short period of time. I was battling with severe depression, my doctor classified me as morbidly obese, I had high blood pressure and was a boarder-line diabetic. I was slowly killing myself with food and lack of exercise.
One day while on facebook I was searching for different weight loss groups and products and I found a lady advertising Plexus Slim, she told me that it was the easiest product she had ever tried. I bought a 3 day sample from her. I immediately felt a difference! I loved the energy that it gave me.
Currently I have lost 92 lbs and 55", I am off all of my medication and my blood pressure is the same as it was in high school. I have hit a plateau with the weight loss and thought I'd join this site to see if it would help me. I'm still losing inches so that's a good thing :)
To reply to the lady about it being a pyramid scheme just wanted you to know it's not. The lady that sponsored me hasn't sponsored anyone else and all she makes is 5% off my monthly sales. I am helping people all across Canada and a few people in the states. People are losing weight, lowering their medication requirements and are happier then ever!
Sorry this post was so long winded but I'm very passionate about Plexus and how it has personally helped me and my family.

I was also going to say it is a pyramid scheme. All those trips you can go on are probably earned through selling the product and recruiting your friends and neighbors to sell.
If you read the ingredients, there's nothing in it that will help you lose weight. It's basically the same as those little packets of Crystal Light that you mix into a water bottle.
It's always a red flag when you go to a company's website and they talk much more about the "business opportunity" than the product. This is a company that makes its money by trapping people into paying to sell for them, not by making a good product that people want to buy. It's a pyramid scheme, and besides spending a lot of money on a useless product, you'll have all sorts of people calling you and harassing you about becoming an "ambassador" or a "distributor," which means going out and finding other people YOU can harass into joining.
If you really feel that you HAVE to use a weight loss product, get something sold in stores. It will be cheaper and you can quit whenever you want without anyone pressuring you.
Is it something you're willing to do for the rest of your life? If not, stick to healthy eating habits. No pill, shake, or exercise can do the job of a proper diet.

I am thinking about trying Plexus Slim, but I am a little iffy about it because that is a lot of money to spend on something that I'm not positive will work, has anyone tried it before? And if so what were your results and what is your opinion? Thanks :)
