I plan to just relax, go to our town's amateur league baseball game (my 29 yr old "boy" is pitching), spend some time with my daughter, and have hubby cook me a steak on the grill.

Friday is our Mother Daughter banquet at church so I get to take my little princess. My husband is taking me out to dinner and maybe a movie on Saturday. We don't get to do that much and we have the sitter lined up so why not. And then Sunday we have church in the morning and then we'll be going to my Mother in laws for dinner. My mom has to work :( So I'll get to see her Monday evening :) Can't wait!!! My sister and I had pictures made of our kids together and then some with us too. That is my mom's gift. :)

I am going to do the Cliff Walk in Rhode Island. I don't know how long it is but it's a cliff along the shore in R.I. that you can walk to a beach and back. I am guessing it must be over 5 miles because it takes me about 2 hours to get to the end...maybe longer that 5 miles?? I am excited, it will be great exercise and fun too. :)
I will be making sure that I bring food that I can eat! bacon wrapped asparagus , black bean salsa, hummus with veggies! This way i can enjoy myself and not stress over what I CAN"T eat! I must remember that eating good helps me feel good which makes me a better Mom.

I'll be taking my mother on a short drive to her favourite Mexican restaurant in town. I don't like Mexican in the least, so I'll either be eating separately, or snacking likely on one of their basic dishes. It's a win-win for the both of us.

I decided I'm going to make the 7 hour drive to WI to be with my mother for Mother's Day this year. I'm looking forward to seeing her after a long winter. It will be wonderful time to catch up and have some special time together even though it will be only for a weekend.
