Once again, please people reading this thread --- just take it for what is advertising. Sure it is not politically correct but seriously, you go to the gym to workout for you and if you get a chuckle along the way GREAT. Laugh and move on to the business of getting healthy!
LOL @ DEAN: That was the BEST EVER heavy-backhanded political statement I have ever read, LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been thinking about joining a gym, but around here there are three gyms that I have been told are just like "meat markets" and I really don't want to deal with that so I guess i will just keep enjoying the school track that a share of my hard earn money has paid for and the nice refreshing outdoors that no one has been able to take away from me yet.

I remember being in my gym running intervals on the treadmill, watching these two girls on the ellipticals in front of me. They spent the entire time chatting on the lowest resistance setting, and never even got a hair out of place.
Made me feel so powerful, with my sweaty red face, wild hair and screaming thighs.
Or the ones who sit there on the thigh addductors with their yoohoos in hand while I hit the freeweights.
I wish our PF was closer; the price is what I can afford, but my $30 gym has two locations within walking/biking distance, so I stick with it.
Although I haven't gone in months.

Those PA commercial's are great, and true. As far as being more "inclusive" or not, no one is excluding anyone, we're just having a laugh at what we all know is true.

I'll second that. I do my thing. They do theirs. I find the alarm a bit jarring sometimes. I don't think I've ever seen anyone at my particular franchise get "out of line", but the alarm goes off a lot.
I'm kind of 'meh' on it.
I'd rather they have an alarm that goes off when people are sitting on a machine texting, instead of using it.

Lol! I get the message and it's funny, but let's try to be more inclusive as a fitness community, not less! The way other people are or are not exercising doesn't bother me at the gym, as long as they're not screaming as they pick things up and put them down or just sitting on equipment I want to use. We all have different goals. :)
I don't open links on boards but have seen a few of the PF commercials lol.
I love the guy who picks things up and puts them down.

Too funny! I like the second one you posted too! I used to go to PF, but wanted to go somewhere with classes. I've been Grouponing it to different places in the meantime. And to the posted below, the one I went to gave out pizza once a month. Nothing wrong with pizza, as long as you don't eat that stuff all the time. I ate the tootsie rolls pretty often, but never had any pizza.
