And as others said - make sure you know what is included! Digital rights are all the rage right now - that way you're not getting a bunch of prints you never use or give away - you're paying for the rights - so you can print them, share them and post them anywhere!
Ours is only $600 - but we happen to have a professional in the family!

I have seen one that range from $300 to 2,250. The average has been around $750.

I know one and her prices start at $5,000 and she does travel, when able. I do believe that you have to pay her travel expenses.
I love her style though. She has been featured in magazines, blogs and couture wedding gown designers have shared her page. When she photographs a bride wearing their gown.
It is important to see what the photographer includes for the price. That is one thing I am willing to splurge on. The pictures will be around forever. A cheap photographer is not always a bargain.

Prices vary greatly! I have seen them range from a few hundred to several thousand, depending on what options you choose.

Just wondering if anyone has looked into photographers yet and if so what is the average price people are finding?
