Thank you all so much! I was wondering mostly about the temperature and timing. I would be sad if my fries burnt! I love all of your advice! Thank you! emoticon

I have been making oven fries for years. I use my Misto sprayer to coat the fries with olive oil and bake them at 400 until crisp. The time depends on how big your fries are. I have done sweet potatoes this way too.

It looks like it is just a cutter? I make fries in the oven ALL the time. I toss with about 1/2 tsp olive oil, add some seasoning and bake in an oven until done. I usually set the temp to around 425 and it takes about 20 minutes - some times longer. Yours might not take as long because it looks like the cutter does them smaller than I do by hand.

That's it - tasty, oven baked fries every time

SUCCESS :-)

Pat the Fries dry so that they don't steam. You can do this by laying a clean tea towel on the bench, putting the fries on it and folding the cloth over, them massage them. I just heat up an oven tray or low-sided baking tray, then lightly spray it with oil, place the fries in a single layer onto it, and then lightly spray them again, the put them into the hot oven. You can sprinkle them with dried herbs, finely chopped Rosemary, or Lemon Pepper, etc before you bake them, too, if you want.

Good luck,
Kris

So, I got this little contraption: https://www.perfectfries.com/

But it only tells me how to fry them in oil. Does anyone know how to bake fries just by experience? They taste horrible fried in oil... emoticon
