That's awesome. I recently did the Glow Run 5k and it was amazing. I didn't get time to train in but I did walk it in just under an hour which I was pretty stoked about. I bet you and your daughter will have fun also! Plus knowing you're going to be doing it will definitely keep you motivated to jog the entire thing.

My daughter and I are going to try and do a 5k in September. You can walk, jog or run. I guess I will probably be walking but I'm going to try to jog some of it so I'm going to have to start training for it. I can easily walk it but jogging is another story. The past week and last week has been rough I have been working 9 to 11 hours a day and I'm off this weekend.

I did walked today while I was waiting for my daughter to get out of cheer practice. Walked for 37 minutes pretty good considering I worked 10 hours today plus I do alot of walking at work.

I use to do a lot of walking when my kids were at soccer practice or JUDO class, and I was waiting. Great time to walk.

Since I started my real journey on August 3 2013 I started out at 230 lbs and since then I have lost 4lbs as of August 11 2013. I'm real excited about this, so far I'm doing pretty good. I'm walking more and cutting back on cokes and sweets, I still have them but not as much.
Went for a walk with a friend while we was waiting for our girls to get out of cheerleading practice about a 33 minute walk. I'm keep track of my step, miles and minutes I walk a day. today have been 12937 steps 5.10 miles 4225 of those steps were exercise steps. So far I'm happy with what I'm doing. Maybe i can keep this up.
