I have allowed myself to take a snack that I normally would not have because it will haunt me until I do. I do not feel bad because it is how the body reacts during that time.

That is the time when I have the most cravings! Not quite as intense as you're describing though, hopefully Jen's article will help.

oh, honey. I know what you mean! I was always super skinny (not by anything I was doing, just a fortunate metabolism). That has definitely changed as I've gotten older

do you belong to a gym, or can you get a guest pass to one? When I was having one of those ARRRRRRGH! days I'd stop by for a little time on the racquetball court. I don't know anything about playing. But the court is small enough that I could just pound the racquetball (picturing various faces on it) by myself until I was worn out or felt better (or both)

punching bags and kick boxing are also really good!

I can't eat any of it. I'd go nuts.

I don't remember ever having to control myself when it came to eating--no matter what I ate, I didn't gain weight. This calorie-counting stuff is still new to me. None of this dieting stuff comes naturally to me yet. Anddddd I'm in a bad mood (thanks PMS!) so all I want is a big greasy burger to make me feel better. (Which it wouldn't!)

IF you can eat just a little of what you are craving without going overboard, do that (some folks cannot).

for me, if I don't eat a little of whatever I'm craving I will overeat on everything else trying to satisfy the craving. I'm better off with just a taste.

if you are really wanting those 'trigger foods' that tend to cause a loss of control, see if you can get busy doing something to take your mind off of food - something that keeps you mentally and physically involved

Am I alone in my mega-craving, constantly-feeling-as-though-I'm-dying-of-
starvation-feeling, wanna eat everything in sight ESPECIALLY sweet and greasy stuff while PMSing? I am desperately trying to stay within my calorie goals each day and haven't had any major setbacks yet but today I'm just starving and feel like its a constant battle to keep my eating in check. Any ideas for me? Please?!?!? I'm on the verge of making my hard-work all for naught.
