Could you just make a normal dessert since it is for a group who may not be watching what they eat and then for yourself have a small piece? If you pair lets say a piece of pie that is small with some fruit or a chocolate chip cookie and fruit? For a healthier choice I once took pound cake or angel food cake which is lower in calories spread with cool whip and topped with strawberries which people seemed to like
Yes for sure .... Angel food cake.....also pumpkin pie is healthful....you can just skip the crust to save on calories.

Here are some that you can eat wisely from! -- Strawberry shortcake (you eat strawberries, save the whipped cream and shortcake part for them) -- Pavlova (made with egg whites -- again, supply whipped cream but take only a taste) -- Chocolate dipped berries -- Mangoes, pureed and run through an ice cream maker with some peach nectar to hold it together -- Honeydew melon with lime juice and chopped candied ginger, serve with a cookie (for them)
How about a big bowl of cut up fresh fruit (fresh berries, mango, peaches, melon, etc. all mixed together) or even slices of seedless watermelon. Anytime I take something like that anywhere it disappears quickly.

ya my family reunion is in 13 more days and I don't know what to make. my family loves sweets they don't bring diet food. HELP PLEASE what should I make so I can eat it too?
