Hello, I'm Megan and I'm 24 years old. I'm going to school for Medical Assisting which made me move from not only the idea of losing weight but also getting healthy. I've been on and off Sparkpeople for a while but I've always just been doing it to lose weight. Now I've realized I can't do this just for that. Being healthy is more important than being skinny. I've always been overweight and never really did anything about it until four years ago and I've tried everything in the world to lose the weight. Diet pills, crazy diets...some other things I'm definitely not proud of but have mostly overcome and some I'm working on. I'm an emotional eater and a binge eater but both are improving since I've started working out. Definitely hard though. Okay, so enough for an intro. Oh and if anyone has any questions or wants to talk about having an eating disorder (mainly bulimia) I'm on the website pretty much all the time so let me know.
