Orange. Always eat fresh fruit versus the fruit drink. The fresh fruit contains natural sugar plus other nutrients whereas the fruit juices are loaded with sugar additives and other concentrates. Read the label on fruit juices before you make a choice.

I follow the WW Points Plus plan. If you eat natural fruit, it is considered free food and you do not have to account for it. But, if you drink a fruit juice, you have to account for it.

Always go with fresh. It's so much better for you.

The orange has the fiber that helps you feel full. Orange juice is basically sugar, even if it is a more natural kind. Plus, it's really easy to guzzle orange juice without realizing how much sugar you're taking in. Have you ever squeezed your own orange juice? One orange only gives you a small amount of juice, not the 8 oz or more that many of us have been raised to think we need with breakfast.

An orange. Juice is fine, as long as you limit it to a glass a day, but the whole orange has the fiber that is lacking in juice!

Is it better to consume1/2 cup of orange juice or a medium size orange? I would assume it would be the orange because you are consuming all of it and getting the benefits of all the nutrients.
