Seriously, you deserve all those and more!!! I still cannot do a pushup!!
You are fantastic for overcoming that and doing them!! You are getting so much stronger!!

So today I'm doing my usual routine and watching Biggest Loser reruns on TV. I see one of the contestants, who is (happy that I can say it now) bigger than me, and SHE'S doing push ups.

Now I have been doing modified push ups (with bent knees) for a few months now. I just never got to the point that I thought I was strong enough to do a regular push up, and always told myself I still was too heavy. Kept telling myself, "Try it in another month or so..."

So when I saw this woman doing push ups, I thought, "I wonder if I can do a push up?" and tried it myself

...and I proceeded to do 10 of them.

I cried! I cheered for ME! I thanked God for giving me the daily motivation I need to continue on this journey. And of course I am so grateful for Sparkpeople for all the help I get here too!

I just couldn't believe that I had built up enough strength to do REGULAR push ups!! What a fabulous feeling. I'm still sitting here an hour later with a huge grin on my face.

Go ME! emoticon

It's only 10, but I'll take 'em thank you very much. More is on the way!
