Last summer I had found a recipe somewhere for an onion au gratin dish... and for the life of my can't remember where. Does anyone have any thoughts on how this might be made? I remember it being very simple, maybe just broth and seasonings added to the onions and then topped with croutons and cheese?!?!? It was out of this world and I thought it would be a nice side to bring to my parents' for thanksgiving.
