I understand what you are saying. Feeling like I failed myself so many times before but feeling a little different as I start the SparkPeople journey. It's almost like getting my spending under control. Budgeting felt like a straight jacket until I found a practical, common sense approach. Circumstances are definitely different for me this time. I am no longer trying to lose weight to avoid health problems. The problems, thankfully caught very early, have begun. I have to succeed this time! What has changed is my definition of success. Instead of double (ok - maybe triple) digit weight loss, I am concentrating only Fast Break Goals. I look forward to getting to know my fellow travelers.

I agree. I have been on and off since January . If I can stay on and lose weight my insurance premium will go down next yr. Think I can do it.
I have been doing the same thing...on and off and on and off. I am hoping that this time it will be for good. I do love SparkPeople and just have to stay focused and committed. You most definitely can do this.We both can.

I can't remember how many times I have started and stopped a life style change. Since I have started Sparkpeople in January, this will be my final mission. I am not going to fall off the wagon again thanks to Sparkpeople and Spark Friends.....
