It's okay to indulge in a little fried food once in a while. Spark People isn't about deprivation. It's all about moderation and portion control. There is no reason a little fried food can't be a part of a healthy lifestyle. so, try not to beat yourself up over this.
One thing I've found is that the more healthy foods I eat, the more my tummy rebels against something like fried food. I can still eat it, but only in very small portions.
Also, does Rodeo have any grilled options ? The next time you go, you might want to try something from the grill instead of the fried stuff. if you want some fried, steal a little from your hubby's plate. If the portions they serve are that big, he'll never notice. LOL !
