I feel your pain...although my wedding isn't until June 2012, when I picked up my gown last week from the boutique, the bridal consultants were trying their hardest to zip my dress, but it just wouldn't go - I was sooo embarrassed. What I've found to be successful in un-bloating myself quickly (in a healthy way) is to cut my diet down to mostly lean protein and vegetables (chicken and broccoli works best for me). Try to eat your carbs in the beginning part of the day and then stick to protein and vegetables for the rest of the day - I think you'll be surprised by the results. It gets redundant eating pretty much the same meals, but it's well worth it I think :) good luck! I'm sure you will be a beautiful bride!!!!

Brides and Grooms.....don't let the 'wedding' process make you insane!! I had a Bride call off her wedding last night and her wedding is tomorrow night! Now she has to deal with giving back all the gifts, paying a caterer for a meal she won't eat, paying the venue for an event that won't be celebrated, hanging a beautiful gown in storage for another day, uninviting all the guests.....
I don't know the reasons, perhaps they were good ones, but as an Officiate, I have seen many Brides and Grooms go through HE*L getting ready for the wedding, and they take it out on each other!
Please draw closer to each other, take care of yourselves with proper rest, nutritious food, and some pampering. Plan intimate times with your intended, especially the crazy week of the wedding. Don't lose sight of the goal; to spend the rest of your life with the person you love more than anyone else.
And use that God-given SENSE OF HUMOR to get you through this process. You will be glad you did!! I am here if anyone needs any help....just email me loves.
Blessings, Susan

Don't be sad! Use this as motivation...YOU CAN DO IT! YOU WILL DO IT! Challenge yourself each day. Walk an extra 1,000 steps, or shave 200 calories. And COUNT THOSE CALORIES girl!

Stay strong and visualize all the things you want. Get your Future Husband to help you too! He can go walking with you or help you plan healthy meals.

You are the master of your destiny!

Ugh! my wedding is in 22 days and my dress is a little snug! Time to ramp up the walking a bit.
