Hello, all. I've been on SparkPeople for a little over a month I think but never took the time to look at any of this community stuff. Just now spent a little time reading over some posts, and wow! What a great community of people just chomping at the bit to offer encouragement and help each other out!
So I'm 23 and balancing work and school, and I just needed the extra help in keeping track of what in the world I'm doing to this body of mine. I'm pretty shortish, so the extra pounds are easily seen and felt, and I would like to lose 15 or so just to keep my energy levels up as I deal with all the ups and downs that come with a typical day. Oh, also I'm a Phys. Ed. major so it's a lot of fun and very interesting to use all the tools here to help me put into practice all the things I'm learning in my classes. Anyway, love this site and its peeps. You guys are great.
