I've read several articles recently about proper dosing in obese patients, both adult and pediatric. We really don't know what the proper doses are for many drugs as they have not been tested in obese patients.
Some drugs are weight based. like ibuprofen in kids, others have standard dosing like an amp of epi in adults. Until studies are done we aren't going to know what is best.

I had chemo in UK and they weighed me at the beginning to ensure I was getting the appropriate dose.
